America Antiques and Designs Presents Acoustic Jazz and Art Film
During City’s Second Saturday
An Evening of Groove and Ambience with Artists of New Hope Collective

Lambertville, NJ – On Saturday, August 12, local jazz musician Jim Stagnitto will be performing live at
America Antiques and Designs at 5 South Main Street as part of Second Saturday, a city tradition in which
many shops and galleries remain open until 9:00 p.m. or later to offer visitors entertainment, refreshments and
special offers.

The soiree will take place in the hip Lambertville design showroom, best known for housing the world’s
largest collection of antique, industrial and modern clock faces.  At 8:00 p.m. there will be     a solo trumpet
performance by Jim Stagnitto of New Hope Collective, a consort of Bucks County performing artists spanning
dance, visual art and music. A lifelong musician and composer, Jim is a founding member of the Collective’s
newly-formed Jazz Band performance unit which recently released its first CD.  For more information visit

In addition to these performances, David Teague, New Hope Collective’s video artist and owner of America
Antiques and Designs, will preview a montage from his experimental film project, American Shaft. The series
involves large-scale video projection of powerful and alluring imagery set to contemporary and eclectic music.  
Conceived, directed and edited by Teague, the films have been described as “ambient wallpaper” and have
been featured at nightclubs, restaurants, parties and cultural events throughout the area.  To view a sample of
